A group of local artists known as ‘Joint Collective’ will be presenting their latest exhibition, “1408 Art Space” located in downtown Sarasota at 1408 State Street. European Focus Village and The Isaac Group provided the space to the collective of Ringling College students and alumni allowing them to exhibit their latest work in what the group hopes will be the first of many pop-up galleries throughout Sarasota. After a brief renovation and cleaning Joint Collective has transformed the store front into a suitable gallery space that will feature the works of ten artists in the fields of painting, sculpture, and digital media. The opening reception for the exhibition will take place May 20th from 5pm to 10pm and will be open to the public during regular business hours until the 25th of May. Joint Collective welcomes the community to visit the gallery and help support Sarasota’s local contemporary art scene.
